 SHORTS

A collection of my production design work on short films. Check out my directing work to see more of my Production Design work!

The Den, kelsey ann wacker & nathan simpson

A struggling actress becomes entangled in an abusive relationship with her idol at a cult-like New York theatre company.

I had the opportunity to design and build massive sets in the legendary Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in West Hollywood, CA. I did this as a one woman team in July 2020. Click through the slides below to see examples of my work from the set.

STAINS, Joe Burch

This gritty, cerebral horror film stars Sasha Frolova and Peter Falls.

For the Production Design, the film required period piece props, blood SFX, and entire set builds.

Most exciting of all, I had the opportunity to build the interior of a delapidated air vent for an ambitious tracking shot (see images below).

I made fake teeth, fake blood, and many other props all by hand.

Baby Husband, cate fogarty

An over-worked mother is horrified to discover her immature husband is actually a real life baby.

I was able to work with the director, Cate Fogarty, to bring her hysterical, satirical vision to life. I made sure props, rigs, furniture, and graphics represented her vision.

A conflict, augusta mariano

A woman struggles to meet the standards of society in this liminal space.

I had the opportunity to work with director, Augusta Mariano to bring her surreal vision to life.

EMET, isa chaffari

A young man trying to mend his heat after a break up, befriends a mysterious man in the desert.

We got to shoot this amazing story in the Alabama Hills right under Mt. Whitney in the historic town where hundreds of Westerns were shot in the Golden Age of Hollywood. Please click through pictures below to see some of my work.

THIS LITTLE PIGGY GOT SOME, eleanor vigneault

Based on the award nominated short story written by Eleanor Vigneault, This Little Piggy Got Some centers on a young girl named Esther who is struggling to figure out what to do with her life when she receives a message from a man asking for feet pics. Along the way, connections form and so does a sense of clarity for what Esther’s life could be.

This film was written, directed and produced by women. I was given the opportunity to create the hyper-femme, saturated Los Angeles naiveté of my dreams through art direction. Scroll through the pictures below to see my work.

Power day, chris edgar

In a post-nuclear apocalypse world in which the government confines people to their homes and rations electrical power, a teenage girl must choose whether to defy the authorities to save her ailing mother.

I worked as a one-woman team to build this set from scratch, including graphics, medical equipment and building furniture. Scroll throll the images below to see samples of my work from this set.
